SarahCare-DTC to be Nation’s First Energy Self-Sufficient Adult Day Care Center
DENVER, Colorado November 30, 2010 - Installation of a 29-kilowatt solar electric system by Colorado-based Denver Solar Now has begun at SarahCare at DTC that will enable the Adult Day Care Center to generate enough electricity to meet its own energy needs. Upon completion, SarahCare at DTC will be the first in the country to become electrically self sufficient, by making an investment in solar energy.
“We feel very strongly that as business owners it is our responsibility to respect the environment and do what we can to keep SarahCare’s carbon footprint as small as possible,” said SarahCare at DTC Owners, Carol Butler and Randy Gornbein.

SarahCare at DTC is Denver’s premier Adult Day Care Center located at the Denver Tech Center at 8000 E. Quincy Avenue.
